Earthquake!

I love that moment of uncertainty one has before diving for a door frame ...

Exactly why my mother doesn't want me to apply for graduate school in California!

Ha. :~) Well, no matter where you go there'll be *some* sort of natural disaster to watch out for, pretty much ...

To add to chimerically's note, I've lived here for 10 years and this is the first one I've really felt.

Heh, I was talking to a friend when he mentioned feeling it out there. Started a big fight with my wife why I shouldn't work there...

*snort*

I've felt as many in Utah as I have here, actually. And out there you have your hurricanes and tornadoes, right? Can't escape natural disaster anywhere. ;~)

I've always stuck to my little bubble of childhood security. *It doesn't happen in Utah, and if it does, it's totally unexpected and shouldn't ever have happened anyhow.* (Yes, I know we've had one major tornado in the last 10 years, but that was a freak happenstance... nothing ever happens in Salt lake valley.. nothing :) )
